1. The pathogenic cerebalis echinococcosis is caused by the larvae of long-headed mites, the longheaded pupa. Adults parasitize in the small intestine of end-host dogs, wolf, fox and other meat-eating animals. Eggs are excreted with feces, and sheep are infected when they are grazing on pastures heavily contaminated by roundworm eggs. Larvae parasitize the sheep's brain. The larvae are vesicle-like and the capsules are filled with transparent liquids. The number of six hooks in the capsule is often as large as 100-250, and the cysts are large from peas to large eggs. The disease mainly affects sheep less than 2 years of age, and sheep 2 years of age or older also occur infrequently. 2. Symptoms According to the number of invasive hydatid and the degree of damage to the brain and death, can be divided into acute, subacute and chronic three. (1) Acute type: Occurred about 1 month after infection, due to a large number of infections (7-25), the larvae in the process of moving, serious brain damage, often caused by cerebrospinal meningitis, before the death of cramps Running wild, screaming and dying. (2) Subacute: occurs about two months after infection. There are 2-7 infections. The epileptic seizures of the diseased sheep were several times a day, 5-10 minutes each time, showing multiple neurological symptoms and the death was longer than acute. (3) Chronic: Occurred 2-3 months after infection, the number of hydatidosis was mostly one, and the number of seizures was usually one day or every other day. The sick sheep did circular motion toward the parasitism side. 3. Prevention (1) Strengthen the management of the shepherd dog, control the number of shepherds, eliminate wild dogs, and eliminate wolf and fox to prevent the grassland from being seriously polluted. (2) The grazing insecticide is given once every quarter to the grazing animal, and the excrement must be buried or burned. (3) Surgical removal of diseased sheep The surgical site is determined: According to the direction in which the sheep rotates, generally rotating to the right parasitizes to the right side of the brain, and turning to the left parasitizes to the left side. Then use a small percussion hammer or mallet to hit the suspected parts of the skull. If there is a low sound or voiced sound, it is a parasitic part, and the non-parasitic part is a drum sound. Press with your thumb to touch the softened area. This area is the best surgical site. Surgical procedure: Scalp the surgeon's hair, wash it with clean water, and then disinfect it with iodine.
