(2) If the hollow cathode lamp is not used for a long time, it will not be used normally due to air leakage, gas adsorption, etc., or even ignited. Therefore, it is recommended that the lamps that are not commonly used be energized for 2-3 hours every 3 months to maintain the performance of the lamp and extend its useful life.

(3) When using hollow cathode lamps, especially low-melting elements (such as As, Se, etc.), avoid large vibrations. If you use them, you cannot replace other lamps immediately.

(4) When picking up or loading or unloading the hollow cathode lamp, take the lamp holder, do not take the lamp tube, and do not touch the quartz window of the lamp to prevent the lamp tube from rupturing or the window being stained, and the photo-induced light energy is reduced. If you find oily, fingerprints or other dirt on the window, use a mixture of 1:3 alcohol and ether on the cotton wool to gently wipe (the ratio of ether can be increased in wet weather).

(5) Once the hollow cathode lamp is broken, the cathode material is exposed to the outside. In order to prevent certain harmful elements on the cathode material from affecting human health, the harmful materials should be disposed of according to regulations, and should not be thrown away.
