Pruning saplings winter pruning should master the principle of “light-cut long-term deployment and more branchesâ€, with plasticity as the main factor, which can promote the pear tree's early results. When shaping, the pruning method of each part is as follows:
1. The center is dry. The varieties with weak branching and less sprouting can be appropriately shortened, such as sand pear lines. For varieties with strong branching and sprouting, side shoots can be used as the main head, and appropriate cuts can be made. The original head was flattened to one side and cultivated as a temporary result.
2. Main and lateral branches. Can gently cut and put slowly, use the appropriate side branches to extend the growth, short cut, adjust its angle and increase its sharpness, the original head can be changed for slow release, so that the results gradually removed later. The weak branching varieties should be appropriately shortened, generally clipping 30-50cm, leaving the clipped buds left and right, increasing the effective branch volume.
3. Branch culture. After the first cut, the first cut, the first break, and the winter put summer tube and other methods. Moderate branches can be put slowly, training medium and small branches. The strong branches are treated in different situations. For varieties with strong branching ability, the branches should be put first, and the branches with weak branching ability should be firstly cut short, then slowly put, and the branches should be close to the backbone branches. After all the branches are released, the results are retracted.
