The main equipment is used to extract ginger oil by distillation. The equipment is simple and the investment is small. There are mainly tunnel dryers (or ovens), crushers, stainless steel steamers, coolers, and oil-water separators. 3. The main process of raw material processing → slicing → drying → crushing → distillation → cooling → oil-water separation. 1 Raw material treatment: Choose fresh ginger without worm rot, no germination, no mildew, remove roots, and cut them into slices of 4 to 5 mm thickness. 2 Drying (or drying): The temperature of 60 ~ 65 °C, time 6 ~ 8 hours, so that ginger moisture content dropped to 12% or less. When drying, the temperature should not be too high, ginger should not be too dry, otherwise it will make part of ginger oil volatilize, reduce the rate of ginger oil. 3 Pulverization: The dried ginger pieces were pulverized into a rice-like ginger powder with a pulverizer and passed through a 20-mesh sieve. Ginger powder can not be too thick, otherwise it will affect the oil rate; it should not be too thin, otherwise water vapor is not easy to penetrate. 4 Distillation and Cooling: Place the wolfberry fruit in the steamer, spread a layer of gauze on the top of the glutinous rice seed, loosely spread the ginger powder on the gauze. The surface of the ginger powder and the upper glutinous rice dumpling should retain a certain space to facilitate water vapor penetration. After the ginger powder is installed, connect the distillation tube of the steamer to the cooler. Pay attention to maintain the cooler's inlet and outlet height difference, the inlet is higher than the outlet. Steam is passed under the steamer and steam pressure is maintained at 0.12 to 0.13 MPa. In this way, ginger oil vaporizes under the high temperature of water vapor, enters the cooling pot with water vapor via a distillation tube, and is cooled into an oil-water mixture. 5 Oil-water separation: The oil-water mixture is automatically stratified in the separator. Under the ginger oil, it is water, and the lower layer of water is deprived of ginger oil product.
