Yunnan Province: From January to July this year, a total of 348,000 tons of agricultural products were exported

The reporter recently learned from the Kunming Customs that from January to July this year, the province’s agricultural exports totaled 348,000 tons, an increase of 9.9% over the same period of the previous year, and the amount of foreign exchange earned was US$730 million, an increase of 44% year-on-year. Agricultural products were exported to the province. The proportion of total amount is 16.2%.

Statistics show that from January to July, fruit exports showed a gratifying trend, the province's fruit exports 28,600,000 US dollars, an increase of 10.5%. Among them, pomegranates, grapes, peaches, plums and plums exported 5.12 million U.S. dollars, 5.8 million U.S. dollars, 2.58 million U.S. dollars, and 990 thousand U.S. dollars, respectively, and foreign exchange earning exports ranked first in the country.

From January to July, the province's total exports of vegetables amounted to 147,000 tons, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year, generating foreign exchange of 210 million US dollars, an increase of 78.3%, accounting for 28.8% of the province's agricultural exports. Among them, exports of cabbage and cauliflower were 36.6 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 1.1 times, and the largest foreign exchange earned in the country. Garlic exported 15.78 million U.S. dollars, onion exports 10.82 million U.S. dollars, and potato exports 40.22 million U.S. dollars, which were respectively 1.6 times, 1.8 times, and 45% higher than the previous year.

From January to July, the province’s “cloud flower” exports were US$16.01 million, an increase of 20.6%; “cloud tea” was exported 8.73 million US dollars, an increase of 12.4%; “cloud smoke” was exported US$240 million, an increase of 17.4%; 28.74 million US dollars, an increase of 71.2%; coffee exports 83.44 million US dollars, an increase of 52%. The export value of the above-mentioned special agricultural products accounted for 51.6% of the province's agricultural exports.

From January to July, Yunnan's agricultural products exported to ASEAN reached US$320 million, an increase of 78% year-on-year, accounting for 43.8% of the total. Among them, exports of ASEAN fruits accounted for 81.4% of the province's fruit exports; fresh vegetables accounted for 61.9% of the province's exports.
