The national garlic price rose significantly slower, Shanghai Ningxia Chongqing still rose larger

According to the Xinhua News Agency's national agricultural and sideline products and agricultural materials price system monitoring, entering the month of August, the national garlic price increase significantly slowed down. As of August 24, the cumulative increase was 4.2% to 7.77 yuan per catty. From the perspective of provinces, regions and cities, Shanghai, Ningxia, and Chongqing still saw large gains of 34.9%, 24.5%, and 17.6%, respectively, but nearly half of the provinces, regions, and cities have seen a drop in garlic prices, including Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Hainan, and Liaoning. At the top, they were 4.9%, 4.8%, 3.7%, and 3.4% respectively.
