Danone has 220 employees, three shifts, 7 days a week , 35 % of products for export, and the remaining 65. % of the products can be found in every grocery store in Germany.
Danone hopes to reconsider its entire production process. Significant improvements in liquid level control often have great potential in this area, saving time and raw materials. In the past, Danone was manual. Control, carry out liquid level fixed weighing control. A random sample is taken by an employee every 20 minutes, which takes 4 minutes for each random sample . In addition, manual weighing continues to produce small errors: incorrect product numbers or incorrect dates. Due to these problems, automatic level control has been proposed.
However, it is particularly important to consider entering the 16-digit product number of SAP in the checkweigher as soon as possible, rather than entering the 4-digit product number separately in the checkweigher. To achieve this, the checkweigher software upgrades the functions required to meet customer needs. This task was completed in close cooperation between Danone Engineering and the Sartorius Development Department. On the other hand, the checkweigher needs to be connected to the current QA system. In addition, the planning and control of the entire process needs to be convenient and executable (including checkweighers) for the office.

The EWK 3010 Dynamic Double Conveyor Checkweigher proved to be the perfect choice to meet customer's option modifications. Now, up to 2 * 108 packs (including 4 sachets) can be quickly passed through the conveyor belt, all packaging is seamlessly recorded and statistically analyzed.
