Genetic sequencing company Phosphorus receives $10 million in Series A financing to prevent infertility

Under the current health care system, the human genome has limited impact because it faces some fundamental challenges: suppliers cannot receive timely resources to reveal increasingly complex genomic data; many hospitals and laboratories lack informatics and Genomic expertise is not capable of high-throughput sequencing construction and processing; genome researchers often do not have access to useful clinical data to link DNA to human health. In response to this situation, Phosphorus is committed to creating a network of genomic data that allows suppliers, researchers and patients to understand and harness the power of the human genome.

On July 27th, Phosphorus announced the completion of a $10 million Series A round of financing, led by FirstMark Capital, the company's founder and several other angel investors. The company plans to use this round of financing to grow a team of computer scientists, engineers and geneticists to promote new clinical trials and software product development.

Phosphorus has just been spun off from the genome company Recombine this year, and the new company was founded by a team of computer scientists and engineers led by Recombine co-founder and CEO Alexander Bisignano. Previously, Recombine conducted a medical test to sequence the genes of pregnant couples so that they could understand any genetic diseases or recessive mutations that might affect future children. Last year, Recombine was acquired by CooperSurgical for $85 million. The medical test was also sold to CooperSurgical, but Recombine retained the tested software platform and data map. So now, Phosphorus can still take advantage of relevant data map resources.

Small 2D LiDAR Sensor

IT02S, is JRT new product in the early 2019, which is a single-point LiDAR sensor, also called tof distance sensor. With a micro size of 46x17x7mm, customers can widely use in many Laser Measurement Solutions. The lidar distance sensor can measure 12m short-range with high frequency up to 100hz. It's great for Unmanned Aerial Systems. If you need us send you data sheet and spec for this products, offering sample as well, pls tell us, thank you.
