Ducks are ducks artificially filled with fattening fat. They have delicate meat and high lean meat ratio. They are duck breeds with high breeding rates. It is not only eco-friendly, energy-saving and grain-saving, but also improves the disease-resistance of ducks. The outer plume is not in contact with the faeces. It is clean and hygienic. The quality of duck meat is also greatly improved. Excellent, taste better. If you want the fermentation bed to play its normal or greater role and make the duck more efficient, you must do a good job in the management and maintenance of the fermentation bed. Ducks use compulsory filling and have a large amount of filling. This causes the ducks to excrete a lot of feces and become watery, which makes the surface of the fermentation bed extremely wet. Therefore, in the process of breeding ducks in a fermentation bed, the following points must be noted:
1, waterproof and moisture. The dry-type fermentation bed is not afraid of dryness due to the fear of moisture and prevents extra water (drinking water, rainwater, etc.) from entering the fermentation bed.
1 Drinking water: The water line should be designed to prevent the duck from carrying water to the fermentation bed.
2 Shed drip: Using a non-drip film roof.
3 Rainwater: Pay attention to house maintenance. In addition, in summer thunderstorms, it is necessary to maintain smooth drainage outside the duck houses and no water seepage.
2, strengthen ventilation. Fermentation of breeding ducks in fermentation beds is critical. In breeding, it is necessary to fully integrate sunroofs, windows, roller blinds, fans, and axial fans to enhance ventilation in duck houses. The first is the horizontal ventilation of doors and windows; the second is the use of skylights and ground windows for the circulation of ventilation; the third is mechanical ventilation, using fans and induced draft fans for ventilation.
3, disinfection. Can be stacked in the "bed" period of fermentation, high-temperature fermentation and disinfection; or conventional surface disinfection, within four days after disinfection does not turn the bed. For empty-bed fermentation beds, disinfectants can be normally sprayed if necessary (in case of an outbreak) without affecting the continued use of the fermentation bed.
4, turn over timely. If the fermentation bed does not turn over for a long period of time, the manure is difficult to be treated by microbial fermentation due to uneven distribution, thereby affecting the normal operation of the fermentation bed. Usually a duck period (7-10 days) is inverted to 1-2 times, or total turnover is performed during the bed period (turnover bedding can be used in a fermentation bed turning machine).
5, control the density. The density of the raised ducks in the fermentation bed should not be too large, and should be controlled at 3-4 per square meter.
6, add padding. The fermentation bed runs for a period of time. Due to the start of fermentation of the litter and the stepping on of the duck, the litter will consume part of it, thus it is necessary to add a part of the litter and the appropriate amount of goldfish fermentation bed bacteria. Under normal circumstances, one strain is added once a year. However, one principle that is always adhered to is that the fermented mattress material for ducks cannot generally be significantly lower than 40 cm.
