At the same time, pharmaceutical retailers selling ephedrine-containing compound preparations should check and register buyers' identity cards.

The pharmacy sells cold medicines to register ID cards and uses ephedrine cold medicines to make ice and other drugs for many years. Prior to this, the State Administration of Food and Drug Administration and other departments also issued many articles to require more supervision over ephedrine. Yesterday, the State Food and Drug Administration stated that it was necessary to strictly control the number of approvals for ephedrine-containing compound preparations. In principle, registration of generic drugs containing ephedrine compounds was no longer permitted; restrictions were placed on the content of ephedrine in the minimum packaging specifications. At the same time, a monitoring, early warning and notification system for the approval of ephedrine raw materials was established to guide local authorities in the rational approval of ephedrine raw materials and strictly control the output of ephedrine-containing compound preparations.

The State Food and Drug Administration said that retailers selling pharmaceutical products containing ephedrine compounds should check and register buyers' identity cards; strictly control the single retail quantity of ephedrine-containing compound preparations; and prohibit the sale of ephedrine compounds in retail pharmacies. preparation. When it is found that the flow of drug sales is abnormal, it shall immediately supervise the suspension of sales. For drug retailers, they will focus on checking the implementation of the drug classification management system, strictly complying with the single sales limit regulations, and checking and registering purchaser ID cards.

It is understood that there are three kinds of raw materials for the production of methamphetamine, ephedrine, unregulated chemicals, and ephedrine. If some people buy a large amount of cold medicine several times, after real-name registration, if it finds an abnormality, it can be traced, and the situation can no longer be checked after buying drugs from retail pharmacies.

At the same time, it is also necessary to increase penalties for companies that violate regulations. For enterprises that have discovered multiple or large product losses, they must suspend or drastically reduce the purchase approval of their ephedrine raw materials. Any drug production or wholesale enterprise that causes drug precursor chemicals or ephedrine-containing compound preparations to flow into illicit channels shall be revoked the Pharmaceutical Production License or the Pharmaceutical Business License. Those suspected of violating the criminal law must be promptly transferred to the public security organs for handling.
