Food and Drug Administration: Ten Behaviors Including Food Safety Bad Records in Catering Services

The State Food and Drug Administration today announced on its official website the Measures for the Administration of Food Safety Supervision and Credit Information for Catering Service Units. The "Measures" stipulate that ten kinds of behaviors such as food poisoning accidents will be incorporated into the food safety food safety credit history of catering services.

The "Measures" are required by laws, regulations, and regulations of the State Food and Drug Administration under the Food Safety Law and its Implementation Regulations, the "Measures for the Administration of Food and Beverage Service Licenses," and the "Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Food Safety in Catering Services", etc. Investigative argumentation and extensive consultation.

The Measures clarify that the food safety supervision and credit information for catering services mainly includes ten aspects: the status of administrative licenses, the assessment of food safety management personnel for food and beverage service, the status of daily supervision and inspection, the quantification and management of grading levels, the supervision of sample inspections, the status of awards, and reports Handling of complaints, interviews with food safety owners, investigation and handling of illegal activities, and other food service food safety supervision and credit information.

The Measures stipulate that the following ten types of behaviors be incorporated into the food safety food safety credit record:

1. Cheat to obtain the "Food Service License", transfer, alter, lend, resell, lease "food service license" beyond the scope of catering service license;

2. Engagement shall not be engaged in the management of food production and operation management personnel, or fail to provide full-time or part-time food safety management personnel as required;

3. Employees do not obtain health certificates, or suffer from food safety problems as stipulated in the Food Safety Law and its implementing regulations, which directly engage in food import;

4. Failing to implement the relevant provisions on the management of claims for food purchase claims, or purchasing, using, or operating foods and raw materials, food additives, and food-related products whose production is prohibited by the state, whose origin is unknown, or which does not meet national food safety standards;

5. Food additives that have not been filed or publicly used in accordance with the relevant regulations, or add food additives other than food additives and food additives;

6. Did not handle the kitchen waste according to relevant regulations;

8, supervision and sampling failed;

9. Violating the obligation of good faith operation and causing major social influence;

10. Other violations of laws, regulations, ministerial regulations, normative documents.

The “Procedure” requires that, in the case of a list of food safety credit records that are included in food and beverage services, the supervisory authorities shall, in accordance with the law, take measures such as increasing the frequency of supervision and inspection, quantifying and degrading ratings, and giving exposure to the society.
