Within the allowable range of the Guinness Book of World Records, the two can rest for 5 minutes every hour. During the challenge, the two men were not allowed to close their eyes after wearing the VR head. The Guinness staff used the eye monitoring software and the camera to monitor the real-time situation of the two people's eyes to ensure that the challenger did not close his eyes. In order to stay awake, they drank a lot of drinks such as Starbucks coffee and Red Bull, as well as peanut butter, jelly sandwiches, orange juice, smoothies and other foods.
After 50 hours of suffering, endured sleep deprivation and strong vertigo, the two ended up at 10:45 am on April 17th, creating a new Guinness World Record for "Continuous Watching VR Video".
